What would you want in the new Babo Violent?

As some of you already know, a team is hard at work on developing bug fixes and upgrades to the Babo we are using at the moment,
lets put together a list of things we would like to see implemented in these future release(s)

Think before you post, we want to keep the game's simplicity which obviously means that 1st person view, flying and such things aren't going to be implemented at the moment. Also think of things that are currently wrong with Babo in your own opinion/ bugs that you're aware of that need fixing. Be reasonable about your suggestions, remember the aim of these upgrades are to better the game and in the end better the community playing it.

I will add your suggestions to this post as we go along, in two groups, upgrades & fixes.

Would any changes require users to acquire a new babo client and servers to acquire new hosting files?

Pretty sure we could get IS to host a form of beta server if necessary, just getting players to acquire new clients might be problematic for inactive and new players, or could there be a form of self updating client?

The changes will be updated into the master version which will in turn be automatically updated when people start the game. This has always been the case. (Client base)

The servers however will be available for release which will then be updated by the hosting source. (Server side)

A fix you can implement: Zook going through the middle of 2 walls, like on dm-bubble. Same with a molotov, when thrown at that point the person at the other side will get hit...

Oh another Fix: Sometimes, on some maps, there are glitches where i can't pick up HP or nades... When i roll over it, it just wont pick up... Would be nice if that could be fixed..

Its a graphic glitch, there isn't a hp or nade but it still shows the picture

Tdm, difference is there is a bench for each team. U all spawn at the beginning but the 1st that dies in each team does not respawn until 1 of their teamie dies. Goal is 1st INDIVIDUAL to x amount of kills. Strategy is u can either sit back and let yr teamie take dmg or attack with him. If u sit back u risk missing out on kills plus yr teamie dies and is benched then its 2v1 which means ull prolly die unless ure Dark... Then u end up on the bench for a long time whilst yr original teamie was on bench for a short time. Do u attack together and share kills? Cld end up yr teamie gets more kills and wins. Do u have strong players in yr team who will hog kills and cld leave u on the bench for long periods of time or do u choose a weak team with players who dont help much in which case its 2v1 against u all the time and u cant get any kills... This sh!t is like survivor, team game but the whole time it's every man for himself.

Is this new Babo still going to be implemented?

There are some setbacks due to the master server shutting down but there are still people working on the development. This is now a community project which will be maintained by the people who are willing to offer up their time to do so, so don't expect immediate changes.

Hey Vrik! I would just like to know if people are still working on it and how far it's along? People on facebook have become very amped to revive the game and want to help!! If the guys working on the code would like help we have lots of ideas and people that could help... Let me know please.
